In “Journey in the Bible,” which is presented every Sunday, I would like to tell you about a place in Jerusalem that has little to do with Christianity. I also went on a Christian pilgrimage so I could not see it here and see it from a distance. So here are some pictures and information from the books.
The Temple Mount
I did not notice in The Burmese translation of The Temple Mount in Jerusalem that Israel and the Palestinians were at loggerheads. Probably my need. I think the closest is Mount Mori.

The Dome of the Rock (Qubbat Al-Sakhra)
The Dome of the Rock is one of the most notable landmarks in all of Jerusalem. It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring. It is said that the temple was originally built on the site of King Solomon. During the Crusades, Temple Mount was used as a base, and The Dome of the Rock was transformed into a Christian church. At that time it was renamed the Temple of the Lord (Templum Domini). The Al-Aksa Mosque near the temple was converted into a royal palace for the Crusaders. When the Muslims recaptured it, it was restored to its original form.
It is also believed that this is the place where the Prophet Muhammad’s night journey to heaven took place. It should be noted, however, that the Koran does not mention Jerusalem. I have never read the Koran before, so if you make a mistake, let me know. The tower-shaped structure next to the temple is said to contain the hair of the Prophet Muhammad’s beard. Inside the temple is a place of worship for the spirits of the dead, known as the Well of the Souls.
The decoration is quite beautiful and in the past, mosaics were created and later replaced with stone. The temple was built between 689 and 691 and was built by two engineers, Yazid Ibn Salam of Jerusalem and Raja Ibn Haywah of Besan.
