A statement from DoT said: “Frequency sharing for TSP (Telecom Service Providers) should begin as soon as possible.”

As for frequency bands. The Government of India recognizes 526-698 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz. However, the India Government recognizes 3300-3670 MHz, 24.25-28.5 GHz, 2500 MHz for private and public 5G networks (5G services to launch in India in 2022).
