I want to tell you about rivers and lakes. Israel Palestine As you travel around Jordan, you will encounter four unique seas and one river. The Sea of Galilee (also known as the Sea of Galilee); The color is not really red, but the name is Red Sea Red. The Dead Sea The Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan (Jordan) are the largest seas. The Dead Sea
The famous Dead Sea is part of Jordan and Israel, and you can visit any country you like. During our trip, the original plan was to visit Jordan, but for some reason we had to visit Israel. That’s a good thing, too. The Dead Sea can also be called the Inland Sea. At 1,290 feet below sea level, it is said to be the lowest point in the world. It is 48 miles long and 11 miles wide. The salinity is very high and it is isolated. It is also known as the Dead Sea because of the inability of marine life to survive in the Dead Sea.

In the Bible, the Dead Sea is referred to by many different names. Lake Sodom (Genesis 14: 3) ; The lake of the plain, the lake of water (Joshua 3:16) ; The East Sea (Zechariah 14: 8)And so on. Studies show that the Dead Sea is about the same size as Abraham’s time. Even when the water level is very high, the water level rises only a few feet. The family of Lot, who helped the two angels as they were about to destroy the wicked city of Sodom, was saved. The Dead Sea is also known as Lake Sodom, so I guess Sodom will be in the same area. Early in the morning when the city was about to be destroyed, the angels woke Lot up and told his wife and children. He called his two daughters and made them run to safety. I was told not to look back when I ran. When Lot and his men arrived at Zoar, fire rained down from heaven It was destroyed. At that moment, Lot’s wife looked back and said it was a pillar of salt. To this day, Lot’s wife can still be seen on a plateau near the Dead Sea.

In the Dead Sea, humans and animals have the ability to float on their own. If a person raises his head, it will appear automatically. It’s like wearing a life jacket. That is why it is so famous. In addition, the Dead Sea water has a slimy, oily appearance, and its black clay is a natural medicinal substance used in cosmetics and medicine. The taste is quite bitter and difficult to wash off if it gets into the eyes. Resorts based on this 3-million-year-old Dead Sea range from free to paid. The Red Sea
The Red Sea is 1398 miles long and extends over 220 miles at its widest point. There are more than a thousand species of aquatic animals and more than 200 species of soft and hard coral reefs. Today, there are resort hotels and camps on the beach. Various marine museums have been created. The Red Sea is also an interesting place for Christian pilgrims. However, it will be a recreation center with little to do with religion.
It will make it fun. In the Bible, the Red Sea was supposed to be the end of the sea when Moses and the Israelites (the Jews of today) returned from Egypt to fight back, but God stretched out his hand over the sea and sent Moses across the sea. All of Pharaoh’s army that followed them lost their lives as the sea returned to the sea. That is why believers are always thinking about this incident and taking strength in God, even when it is a disaster.

The Sea of Galilee or The Sea of Galilee
It is also known as the sea because it is a large lake and can cause storm surges. I used to wonder if the lake could be a strong wind. When I think back to Indawgyi Lake, I thought it was possible. This lake is often referred to in the Bible as the Sea of Galilee and the Sea of Tiberias. Lake Galilee is connected to the Jordan River. When the snow melts from Mount Harmon, water flows into the lake.
It is a freshwater lake at 685 feet below sea level. It is 13 miles long and 7 and a half miles wide. The depth is 50 meters. Jesus Christ spent most of his three-year ministry in the towns and villages around the lake. That is why it is so often found in the New Testament It is also a place of great interest to Christian pilgrims. According to Matthew 8, Jesus Christ was asleep when a boat capsized in the storm. The disciples are afraid and wake him up. It is also a place where Jesus Christ disciplines the wind and the sea and brings peace.
Galilee
There are many things to do in this great lake of Galilee. Sailing Paddle You can also enjoy banana boat rides. Pilgrims sail around the lake in a boat like in the time of Jesus Christ. It is usually done by worshiping God. The flags of the nations are hoisted on the boats, and the national anthem of the respective pagodas is played. There is the Man in the Galilee Museum near the harbor. The museum, located at the Yigal Allon Center, displays a large boat believed to have been recovered from the lake by Jesus Christ. Admission is free.
Jordan River or Jordan River (Jorden River)
The Jordan River is also important in the Bible, so Christian worshipers value the river. Many Baptists were also found here, and the river water was stored in empty water bottles and transported back to their home countries. The river water is often bottled in pure water at gift shops. The Bible also contains many references to the Jordan River. The most significant event is that of Joshua crossing the Jordan River.
In the Red Sea, people used to cross the Jordan River, but crossing the Jordan River in faith. The water stopped when I put my foot down first. The priests carrying the ark of the covenant had to stop in the middle of the river, and all the people had to cross.

Because Jesus Christ was baptized in the Jordan River, Christian pilgrims had to come to the Jordan River when they arrived.
The seas and rivers that you will see during the Holy Land tour are all the more interesting as you explore the Bible. When I write about these areas, I tend to focus on pilgrimages, so I find that some young people may be less interested in pilgrimages, but there is actually a lot of fun for young people.
